"How are you doing here?" Raphael asked, working into the dressing room where I sat with an expensive suit, as my makeup was being applied. "Hey, too much lipstick, if you can make her lips appear chapped and a little more eye shadow? We need her to look sick and as though she had been crying a lot" he scolded the makeup artist and she nodded and started my lips again.

"Isabelle, you can cry on your own right? Or do you need a tear stick?" He asked and I gave him a small smile.

"I can cry on my own, my life has been too sad not to be able to do so" I sighed. My eyes widened as he tapped my upper arm, hard.

"Don't exaggerate, it's not as if you grew up poor or struggling, sure you are going through tough times but it could be tougher, at least you aren't fighting for your life or anything" he teases and I can only reply with a soft smile.
