Michael enters Aurora's room which is unlocked. The man walked slowly, looking at his future wife who was lying on her side with her back to him.

"Since last night you were silent….You don't answer my calls or reply to messages from me," Michael said quietly, then sat on the edge of the bed and stroked Aurora's hair gently. "What happened? Why are you like this just because Mia tried to end her life?" he asked.

"She didn't try, but she did," said Aurora in her voice so low, it sounded like she was holding back tears. Or maybe she was crying? Crying over having to end her relationship with Michael?

"I know ... but that doesn't mean I have to pity her and surrender myself to her. Wouldn't that be the same as sacrificing my life for her?"
