Zed and Elastor were tied to two chairs and back to back. Zack said:
"Two bastards, you fought and defeated us. Now we have a chance for revenge."
Reaper took out the syringes with the blue liquid inside and placed them neatly on the table. Reaper said:
"Who first?"
Zed and Elastor were sweating profusely as they looked at the syringes, Zed said:
"He got it first."
Elastor replied:
"Bastard, he's being stupid but he's really the first."
Zed said:
"Hahaha, never. Him first, him first."
Zed and Elastor argued over who would get the shot first. Reaper said:
"Or both at the same time."
Zed replied:
"Oh, that sounds good. But, wait wait."
Reaper took two shots and approached them. Elastor shouted in fear:
"No, no, no, no, no. Wait, wait, wait, wait. WAIT! WAIT!"
Zed shouted in fear:
"Torture me or whatever, but this is just too much."
Exos slammed the Legend halberd's handle on the floor repeatedly, making everyone quiet and focus on him. Reaper said:
"What do you want to tell us, Exos. You stopped me from confronting that brat prince and made me so angry."
Exos said nothing. Reaper said:
"Say something you bastard."
While the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse weren't paying attention, Zed and Elastor secretly moved their chairs forward to get a knife to cut the ropes. Hatai turned to look at them and they immediately stopped and sat as if nothing had happened. When Hatai turned away, Zed and Elastor moved the chair forward again. Hatai immediately turned around and smashed the Zin hammer on them, he said:
"Think you can running away?"
Zed and Elastor made chairs fall to the floor to dodge the blow. The hammer smashed their chairs and released the duo. Zed immediately kicked Hatai's crotch and said:
"Run now Elastor."
Hatai was in so much pain and lay on the floor writhing in pain. Zack summoned a Bloody axe and slashed at Zed. Elastor promptly summoned Volt greatsword and blocked Zack's attack. Elastor knocked out Zack's ax and kicked Zed in the head causing him to slip over Zack's legs. Reaper summoned the Whisper scythe and swung his scythe at Zed. Zed immediately summoned the Returner sword and parried the Reaper's attack. Zed stood up and jumped to kick Reaper in the stomach causing him to fall back. Zack turned and swung his axe at Zed. Zed dodged and swung his sword at Zack. He jumped to dodge and kicked the Returner sword to the ground. Zack launched fire from his hand at Zed, he used a table as a shield to block the fire. Just as the table was about to burn, Elastor dashed forward and smashed the blade of his greatsword into Zack's back, knocking him to the ground. Reaper lunged forward and Zed hit him in the face with a table. Zack stood up and slashed at Elastor. Elastor repeatedly backed down and dodged the attack, but he didn't have a chance to fight back. Zed repeatedly took everything in the room and threw it at Zack, who said:
"Damn it, it's tiring not being able to use power."
Zack was annoyed and so angry, he rushed forward and grabbed Elastor's neck and threw it at Zed. The duo crashed into each other and were thrown through the wall. Zed and Elastor lay on the rubble, Zed said:
"Well, it's better than being injected anyway."
Reaper raised four syringes in both hands and replied:
"Watch this."
Reaper launched syringes at Zed and Elastor but they immediately pushed each other away and dodged. A syringe just inches from their butts made the duo sweat with fear. Zed and Elastor stood up and said:
"Goodbye, we have to run first."
Zack and Reaper said together:
"The Colossus! The Ripper!"
Their Elemental Spirits were summoned. Zack and The Colossus immediately chased after Zed and Elastor while The Ripper clung to Reaper's back and flew with him to chase them. And Exos stayed in the room with Hatai, who had fainted. Zed and Elastor ran very fast, Zed said:
"Damn, they're coming after us. Elastor, come up with something."
Elastor replied:
"How do I know, you always have ideas."
Zed said:
"I can't use the power of darkness right now."
The Colossus shot fireballs from its mouth at the duo. They immediately dodged, Zed shouted:
"Damn it, we're almost out of the way."
In front of Zed and Elastor was the end of the corridor. Reaper flew over and swung his scythe at Elastor but he dodged it. Elastor grabbed Zed's hands and moved him over to Reaper. Zed kicked Reaper in the face, stunning him and backing down, and then Elastor dropped him and continued running. About to reach the end of the corridor, The Colossus ran faster and was about to catch the duo. Zed said:
"Elastor, where's your thunder?"
Elastor replied:
"The Star? But what can I do with the lion."
Zed said:
"Doesn't do anything but stop it a bit."
Elastor said:
"The Star! Lend me your thunder."
The panther tattoo on Elastor's left shoulder lit up and sparks appeared on his hand. Elastor launched a bolt of lightning at The Colossus, but it did no harm. Elastor said:
"I told you already."
Zed replied:
"Just try to keep it busy."
Zed grabbed a spear displayed on an armour. The Colossus overcame the sparks and jumped at Zed and Elastor. Zed had hurled his spear into the wall and jumped to grab it, then he held out his hand for Elastor to grab. Elastor jumped up and grabbed Zed's hand to get higher so he wouldn't be grabbed by The Colossus. The Colossus jumped up to drag Elastor down. Zed threw Elastor high and he summoned the Volt greatsword. Elastor said:
"The Star, now!"
The Star merged with the Volt greatsword to create the Star greatsword. Elastor struck The Colossus with the blade on the head, stunning it. Zack lunged forward and swung his axe to launch a fiery slash at Zed and Elastor. Elastor swung his greatsword to break the fiery slash and Zed jumped to kick Zack in the face. Zack stepped back and swung his axe at Zed but he dodged and summoned the Returner sword. Zed stood up and stopped Zack's axe and said to Elastor:
"Go Elastor, get Eva and Julia out of this damn place."
Elastor replied:
"I'll stay to confront them with you."
Suddenly Reaper stood up and said crazily:
"Confronting us?"
Elastor trembled and said:
"Yeah your idea is right, congrats Zed."
Elastor rushed into a nearby room, Zed said angrily:
"Damn it, you bastard Elastor."
Reaper flew after Elastor. Zed pushed Zack away and ran to pull The Ripper's tail, he said:
"Where are you going? I'm still here."
Zed pulled The Ripper off Reaper's back and smashed it into Zack. Zed stepped back and said:
"The Knight! Merge with my sword."
The Knight merged with the Returner sword and created the Devil Wolf sword. Zack and Reaper said together:
"Unify!"
The Colossus fused with Zack, transforming him into a half-flaming lion form with fiery claws of arms and legs, and behind his back a fiery fur and spikes. The Ripper fused him into a half-crow form with the eyes and nose of a crow, black feathers forming a black armor, and crow wings on his back. Zacl raised his weapon at Zed and said:
"Let's see how you deal with two Horsemen?"
Zed replied:
"Great."
Zed swung his sword and launched a dark slash at them. Elastor ran to the balcony of the room he had just entered. He looked upstairs and said:
"The Throne Room is up there. I don't know where Eva and Julia are yet so I'll have to start looking upstairs."
Elastor put away the Star greatsword and tied the blanket on the bed with a lampstand. He threw the lampstand on the upstairs balcony and climbed up with the blanket. Elastor continues to do so to get higher. Elastor thought to himself:
"Wait a minute Julia, I'm up here."
Returning to Eva, Urizen took her into his room and removed her chains. Urizen said:
"Sit down Eva, let's talk."
Urizen sat down on the chair with the tea table set up. Eva summoned the Peace bow and pointed the arrow at Urizen. Urizen sat very calmly and poured tea for them, he said:
"Sugar?"
Eva replied:
"Say no more, what is your plan really? How did you know about our journey?"
Urizen said:
"Then sit down, and we'll talk about that."
Eva was still very suspicious of Urizen, she slowly sat down but still kept pointing her arrow at Urizen. Eva said:
"Say."
Urizen calmly replied:
"First, you thought I didn't know you were going to embark on a journey to convince the three kingdoms to help you? Wizard Laura knew that early on and informed me. But I decided to watch you and to be honest, I'm very impressed with your journey in the Sandx kingdom. And second, I've come to make you to tell you something."
Eva said worriedly:
"What is that?"
Urizen replied seriously:
"About the truth of why I took the throne. I want to form an alliance with the four kingdoms not only to build and develop the Highland Continent, but to protect it."
Eva put away the Peace bow and said nervously:
"From what? The Highland continent has been untouched for over a thousand years with no dark forces attacking and most of the problems are ours to do."
Urizen replied seriously:
"From the outer kingdoms. The truth is that our Highland Continent is just a large island in the ocean. At the time of the exile my family was driven into the ocean, we sailed for three days and three nights and we landed in a new land, we were helped by the fishermen of the new land and brought us to live in their village. The village elder said that once upon a time, ships of explorers with the flag of the sun had come to their village. We all know it is King Arthur and his journey to find new lands. I stayed there and learned many lessons, new spells and combat skills. I thought I would have a peaceful life in that village, but…"
Eva replied curiously:
"What happened?"
Urizen said:
"If my father's kingship was the worst of the Highland Continent, it's second. A kingdom from the West has brought down armies and invaded many other villages and kingdoms. No, it's not a kingdom, it is the Kraton Empire. A cruel empire with the policy of expanding its territory by war. The soldiers of the Kraton Empire went to that village, killed all the weak and took all the alive back to empire to train as soldiers. My family died because of them. I was sent to a training camp and with my talent in combat and genius in tactics, I became one of the generals of them. I have witnessed a lot of cruelty of the Kraton army, their generals are very strong, they all have Elemental Spirits, powerful magic, skills and are very brutal to the extent that the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse could not stand against them. The empire's army, weapons, and technology are invincible. The economy, politics, population have developed strongly and the territory has been expanded strongly. The richest resources and money in the world. An empire as powerful and brutal as war. Many kingdoms were destroyed by the power of the Kraton empire, their power being the highest. The most enigmatic one is the emperor Everest Ixan, a mysterious emperor whose only high ranking generals get to see him but I know he's no good. I heard that the imperial soldiers are looking for something powerful to increase the strength and power of the empire. I know it's only a matter of time until the Highland Continent is found and invaded by them, but the whole continent is nothing compared to them. But I decided that even if I could fail, I had to try it once, I would rather die in the motherland than lose it to the enemy. Then I sailed across the ocean with my most loyal soldiers and returned to the Highland Continent. The plan was to take the throne of Gloria, form an alliance with the kingdoms, inform them of the danger of Kraton kingdom, and prepare a plan to fight them. Even though we might not win, we can keep them from ever touching the continent again."
Eva was shocked by such a horrifying fact, that a terrible force existed beyond the Highland Continent and was coming to them. Eva said:
"Then why kill my father for the throne?"
Urizen replied:
"It's King Arthur who knows about the existence of the Kraton Empire, I suspect he met them in his quest to find a new land but hid that fact from everyone. Eva, you have follow him on that journey, why not know anything?"
Eva had no recollection of ten years ago, she said:
"I don't remember anything, I just remember going with my father to beautiful lands and friendly kingdoms beyond the continent."
Urizen replied:
"So maybe your memory has been locked by King Arthur. The only way is to ask his soul."
Urizen took out a jar with a green flame inside, he said:
"The power of The Phoenix has trapped King Arthur's soul in here, you'll ask him. But that's not the time."
Urizen put the bottle away and said:
"I need you to become more powerful, more powerful than me. Be smarter, be ready for the coming difficult. Then defeat me and become the queen of Gloria kingdom. Only then you will became the chosen one to protect the Highland Continent. Now you have twenty days to do so."
Eva replied:
"Wait, why?"
Urizen took off his shirt to reveal a tattoo of the black dragon symbol on his chest, he said:
"This is the symbol marking the position of the generals of the Kraton empire, after forty five days if a general does not return to the kingdom, the tattoo will notify the location of that person to the empire and will be captured very quickly for execution for treason or something. Only twenty days left so you need to finish me off soon, or else the Highland Continent's location will be revealed."
Eva replied:
"Can someone remove that tattoo? Wizard Laura can do it. If you have a plan to protect the Highland Continent, why trust me to protect it?"
Urizen said:
"Because if it weren't for you no one else would have been able to do it, in the Sandx kingdom you have shown that you care about your people and are willing to fight for them. My taking the throne has discredited a lot of people, only you can. And even if Wizard Laura can remove the tattoo, I'm afraid it will also report back to the empire."
Urizen finished his cup of tea and said:
"Now you need to go Eva, be strong. Remember to keep the truth a secret until I die. If you can't fight me because you feel sorry for me, then remember, I killed your father. Use that hatred to kill me. When you defeat me, I will give you the diary I collected everything you need for the war with the Kraton Empire."
Eva replied:
"But how do I get out of here? Soldiers are everywhere."
Urizen said:
"Don't worry, he's already up here."
A lampstand was thrown onto the balcony of Urizen's room and climbed up was Elastor. Upon seeing Urizen and Eva, Elastor summoned the Volt greatsword and jumped into the room, he said:
"Urizen!"
Eva quickly stopped Elastor and said:
"Don't Elastor, we can't defeat him. We need to go now."
Elastor replied:
"But I can."
Urizen said:
"The Phoenix!"
The Phoenix was summoned and it flew over Urizen's head. The Phoenix flapped his wings and launched a flame that separated him from Eva and Elastor. Elastor said:
"Damn it, we need to leave now or the fire will burn."
Elastor threw the lampstand on the upstairs balcony and said:
"You climb first, Eva."
Eva looked at Urizen, feeling both hatred towards him and how brave he was. Urizen nodded and Eva followed Elastor upstairs. The Phoenix sucked fire into its stomach in the room and withdrew. Urizen said calmly:
"Good luck Eva."
