It has now been six months since Shiva and Kapali with his skellies entered the Underground, at first he thought he could sweep through lower floors like a certain MC he read in a novel, but the reality hit him hard. don't mention challenging the next floor guardian, he couldn't even go anywhere near the floor exit because of high leveled monsters inhabiting there.
And to add salt on top of that due to the punishment from the system he couldn't even gain any experience points. But all hopes were not lost as Kapali told him about some methods to gain stat points by repeated training and fighting monsters,
As a result, he improved a lot, his senses got stronger, his techniques got more refined, and surprisingly he was very good with the scythe and even advanced to intermediate mastery with that, he also used his free time in which, he tried to use a normal bow and learn to fight close combat with a dagger. even if he was not as good with a scythe with bow and dagger it was not bad,.... at least not worse.
His skills also increased in levels, the most prominent was 'Skeleton summon' which went up from E to C rank. the power went up to 60%, and also it becomes one undead per 4 intelligence points, while previously it was for five and mana usage also decreased by a hundred, all his undead are now replaced with level 30 giant demon orcs.
Their sheer size was amazing on its own and with 60% power, they were comparable to an lv.25 monster, even so, none could defeat Kapali with his Swordsmanship even at a 20 level difference.
His backstab also increased in ranks with some other skills, His stats were all on verge of reaching 50, he was overall happy with this improvement. He was currently on spar with Kapali while trying to create his own Scythe moves, but it just looked like an adult playing with a child from outside. like the saying goes,
"Even If You Seat a dog on the throne, it will not stop wagging its tail"
Even if he became strong and had better stats than Kapali, He just couldn't defeat him at all.
"Master, you are leaving your lower body wide open, it's like asking your opponents to hit your balls"
Well, Kapali was faithful as always while doing his job
Shiva gritted his teeth as he moved to correct his mistakes while he was continuously being reprimanded by Kapali.
" Damn why is this hard to create a skill with a scythe, I got Backstab rather easily"
He complained as he sat down with exhaustion
"That's because master, that time you were just repeating what countless people had done, but now it is different you are trying to create your own Techniques "
"Ahhh..... It's so damn hard, how the hell am I going to reach Patal at this rate. Hey Kapali, how long will it take if we move at our current pace towards Patal"
"Hmm, by my estimation Master, seeing as you are progressing rapidly at the very least we need 6-7 years"
"what the hell...!, am I going to spend the rest of my life in this cranky place?"
"well, I will always be with you Master," said Kapali in a mocking tone,
"Screw you Kapali, don't act like you are some heroine"
"hehe"
It seemed like the Master and Servant were getting along quite well seeing their conversation.
while they were arguing with each other Kapali stopped suddenly and stood up while drawing his blade,
"Master, get behind me"
"What happened Kapali?"
just as he asked, space disturbance began to take place near them,
"Seems like it will be difficult to Survive this time, Master. someone Powerful is coming"
said kapali looking at the black rift in front of them,
Shiva gulped down his saliva, He was afraid at first but soon calmed down,
'Since when am I afraid of Death?' thought as he moved to Kapali's side,
"seems like running away isn't an option, right?"
asked Shiva,
"Seems so, Master"
"Then let's make sure to at least struggle as much as possible"
he said as he took out his scythe.
"You are really Crazy, Master"
"Hahaha.."
soon out of the black rift came out a massive serpent along with a bull-headed human, but what caught their attention was shiva's body...no, Virupa's body flying in the air.
Kapali once again stood in front of Shiva, while holding his Sword more tightly and all the undead surrounded the two forming a wall, they were preparing for the impact of the upcoming attack as now the field was dead silent.....
