Before the chakram cleaved along his ear, Liu Guanyi caught it with his hand and broke it apart with his bare hand. Without even glancing at his ear, he already knew of the result of the attack.

Not even a drop of blood had even been drawn out from his ear.

"Too bad, it seems that your attack didn't work, Xin. However, I admit that it was a quite ingenious shinsu technique." Said Liu Guanyi with a thin smile.

"It's your body that's too tough, Mr. Liu! That attack took about half of my energy reserves. Seeing that it has no effect at all is just too much, it's just plain unfair!" Xin shouted out in complaint.

"Well, your enemies wouldn't bother to be fair in a fight, would they? And it's actually just my natural body resistance so it's completely fair. Anyway, since you speak like that, you seem to be very confident in beating me in a fair fight."

"Now, let's see your hand-to-hand combat, shall we?" Liu Guanyi casually said as he cracked his knuckles.

"No!! Wait, I was simply joki—" Xin quickly exclaimed.

"It's too late~" Before his words were cut off short as Liu Guanyi quickly moved in front of him and spoke, before proceeding to throw a shovel hook at his gut, arching his body forward, and followed it with a high kick that sent him tumbling back.

Although he felt nauseous, Xin quickly put his arms up to guard his body.

His quick decision saved him as Liu Guanyi sent a rapid barrage of jabs across his body as Xin, fortunately, managed to block most of them with his arms.

Xin kept his defense high as he continuously retreated back to gain a little respite.

After Xin had somewhat recovered, he began to be more active as he traded blows with Liu Guanyi, seeking each other weaknesses and gaps in their defense.

Obviously, Liu Guanyi had always been holding back and going easy on Xin.

If not, someone with the likes of Xin would be easily defeated with a single full-powered attack from Liu Guanyi. After all, even Adori was at her wit's end and was powerless against him.

However, since the aim of the fight wasn't to show off or to own Xin but to train him, Liu Guanyi had gone easy on him to improve his combat abilities.

Xin laboriously dodged attacks and threw many of his own. But no matter what he did, his attacks were always dodged or blocked with such ease and incredible fluidity, and to make the matter worse, with just a single hand.

The constant blows lasted for a few rounds as Liu Guanyi didn't make any change in his movement while Xin was powerless to get the upper hand in the fight, despite the fact that he had already tried to do his best to get the momentum.

This continued for a while as Xin began to feel frustrated with his powerlessness. \

No matter what he did, Liu Guanyi always handled him only with a single hand and a smirk on his face, a f*cking single hand!

Xin didn't know what had happened to him, but seeing the smirk, he suddenly really felt the desire to wipe it off of Liu Guanyi's face.

"That's bad, Xin. Don't let your blood get into your head, and let your emotions dictate yourself, especially at important moments, such as in the middle of a fight."

"If you do, you will easily create a blunder as you lose your focus, that your enemies absolutely won't hesitate to exploit." Liu Guanyi spoke as he easily blocked a punch from Xin.

"For example, something like this." Liu Guanyi said as he kicked one of Xin's legs on the shin when he was halfway in stepping forward, making him stumbled forward as he lost his footing, and exploiting the opportunity, Liu Guanyi quickly followed it with a swift punch to the face!

Eating a punch directly on the face, Xin wobbled back for a moment before he could keep his feet firmly attached to the ground and finally stabilized himself.

His head was still dizzy from the attack and his nose was broken with blood constantly trickling from it.

However, instead of feeling frustrated for the pain and sorry state he was in, his face looked composed as his eyes were clear and calm, devoid of anger.

"That's right, Xin. That's the correct look that should always be on your face. If you have a different look other than that, you still have a long way to go. Remember, being calm is the best state one can have in every single situation." Liu Guanyi spoke with a casual, yet firm tone.

"Thanks, Mr. Liu. I will always keep that in mind from now on." Xin spoke as he fixed his stance, readying himself to welcome the next round as his eyes glued on Liu Guanyi, observing his motions, and trying to anticipate his next movements based on his observation.

Moving boldly without hiding his intention, Liu Guanyi threw a power jab at Xin, which he was able to dodge as the attack had been really obvious.

Xin retaliated quickly as he moved closer, sheathed his fists with a thick yellow shinsu, and rapidly sent his punches toward Liu Guanyi.

Deflecting his fist outward with his forearm, Liu Guanyi grabbed Xin's arm strongly and yanked it toward him, and using his other hand, Liu Guanyi seized his shoulder, effectively grasping the hold of Xin's body.

Then, he effortlessly lifted Xin up and tossed him over his shoulder into the distance.

Unable to resist or react, Xin's vision suddenly turned upside down and blurred as he was sent flying with a high speed across the forest.

He was flung for several hundred meters before he finally crashed hard to the rough ground.

Fortunately for him, he had been able to react at the last moment as created a shinsu blast against the ground just before the crash to soften his landing and mitigate the damage.

However, even so, the damage was still significant to his already battered body as Xin was heaving his breath strenuously when he got up.

He was barely catching his breath as Liu Guanyi appeared within his vision after just a couple seconds.
