As the glasses anima was dead, Adori turned her gaze toward Liu Guanyi who was still fighting the tiger "fiercely" as Liu Guanyi "struggled" against it and was forced to use every technique to overpower the fearsome tiger. though it was the same for the tiger.

Seeing that he was doing alright against the "fearsome" tiger, Adori sighed and took a look at Xin on the other side.

He was busy evading a flock of ravenous fish with menacing red eyes. Even with his shinsu control and combat ability, he was having a hard time with many bite wounds appearing on his body.

However, even though it looked like that he was at a disadvantage and in the lower hand as he couldn't approach his opponent, the slant-eyed anima was actually bleeding continuously as he controlled his Shinheuh, many small bites and pecks wounds were present all over his body.

It appeared that he had sacrificed himself to his own Shinheuh to boost their capability.

If he couldn't defeat Xin quickly and their battle dragged on, he would sooner or later lose his consciousness and die by bleeding with his own hands.

Finally, she set her sight on the one who had antagonized her in the first place, Yacinth.

He stood still as his mouth mumbled something that she caught as something incomprehensible. If Adori attacked him now, he wouldn't be able to resist at all.

However, if Adori did just that, there wouldn't be any challenges for her to improve, would it?

Of course, Adori often sparred with Liu Guanyi.

But a spar and a fight to the death was vastly different, a spar wasn't as effective as a real fight since whatever your opponent did, they wouldn't really use a deadly and lethal attack that would go for the kill.

Moreover, fighting different kinds of enemies would give her much-needed valuable experience. He was an anima, which was on the rarer side role in the tower. Moreover, he wasn't on the same level as the anima Adori had just slain.

Maybe as a Lo Po Bia member from the main branch, maybe this "special skill" would give her quite a surprise, who knew? It could might as well be, he appeared pretty confident at first, after all, so she wanted to try to fight him at his full potential.

Adori continued to observe him closely as he carried on murmuring his incoherent monologue. Even with her decent knowledge of the tower, she couldn't grasp anything from his monologue.

However, even if she didn't understand anything from it, she could feel that it wasn't some random jabbering as she felt the wind started blowing harder as her long white hair fluttered around wildly.

Soon, the wind blew faster and harder as even the spectators at the sidelines were affected by it.

Adori observed the wind, it came from outside and headed toward the arena, as if something was attracting it, pulling the wind toward it.

And Adori could easily pinpoint what really attracted the wind as she withstood almost the full brunt of it in her position. The wind was pulled toward Yacinth, not only that, it grew stronger as he continued chanting his words.

The wind coiled around his body as a green hue permeated it, making Yacinth's figure become blurred as the gusts of wind covered him in a spinning green whirlwind.

This phenomenon made the clamoring spectators to be quiet as they had to focus on trying to resist the powerful wind blows.

Watching his action, the changes, and the signs, a certain memory of her days before becoming a regular crossed her mind. 'Is this what they were talking about?'

However, her focus returned back at Yacinth as the ominous winds suddenly became wilder and wilder, as if it was a beast who wanted to rip apart their flesh and skin.

And suddenly, a green light shined brightly, completely engulfing his figure in the eye of the storm.

Adori stood still and looked ahead calmly as the gusts subsided and finally, a figure could be seen there.

It was a big, muscular, yet lean tiger who stood straight tall on two legs. It sported the figure between a human and a tiger combined, but leaning more toward a tiger.

Its body was covered with green thick fur with some kind tiger of pattern on its chest. Long and dangerous claws elongated from all of its limbs, ready to tear anything it set its eyes upon. On its face, rows of sharp big teeth formed a menacing grin.

His eyes were green like jade with an intelligent glint as its gaze landed upon Adori as if it wasn't merely observing its prey and held a greater purpose unlike what feral beasts would do.

Seeing that, Adori maintained her cool and stood on her spot. The humanoid tiger turned his sight on the easier prey on the side and dropped his upper body down, changing his body stance from bipedal to quadrupedal.

It leaped away from Adori, it knew it couldn't take her yet, and ran on four legs toward Liu Guanyi who was still busy holding on his own against the big tiger.

Its speed was much faster with its big frame and four legs as it moved in a straight path, rapidly closing to the unguarded back of the black-haired man.

Adori suddenly appeared beside it, catching it up even with its incredible speed, and swung her shinsu enhanced sword right at its body's middle section.

However, what happened next wasn't what Adori had expected as her beautiful eyes grew in astonishment. Her sword simply passed through its body without touching and dealing any damage to it, as if her sword and the tiger were in a completely different world.

With her failed attack, it slipped right through her and managed to get behind Liu Guanyi and swiped its left hand at his side.

Baaaangg!!

Noticing the danger but too late to react, Liu Guanyi couldn't resist and was thrown away like a broken kite into the wall of the arena, creating a cluster of dust.

With the annoyance gone for the moment, it turned its attention toward the injured tiger and…

Stabbed one of its claws through the tiger's heart!
