"I'm so sorry." He gasped out of breath for the run of being late or maybe because he was simply sorry.

I was so happy to see him and excited to finally see our baby that for a fraction of a second the anger I had for him for being late faded away.

However, my rationality and consciousness soon remembered how special that day was supposed to be and I glowered at him."I-I'm sorry." He whispered again as if I was deaf.

I nodded, I didn't want to make a scene in front of a doctor.

On such a special day.

I swallowed down the fury inside my guts and I exhaled. "Are you ready?" The doctor asked.

We both nodded and he turned on the ultrasound machine. He spread the gel on my belly. He slowly and tenderly melted it on my belly through the ultrasound immersing me in a cold sensation and searched for the baby. 

Cameron held my hand and I unconsciously smiled. Once again, my heart failed my will to be mad at him.
