I wore a black suit jacket and an elegant shirt with vintage dark jeans and short booties. I didn't dress too elegant for the occasion because I still was reluctant about my mother's refusal to invite Evelyn.

So I mixed up both my styles into a casual yet elegant look.

I drove to the destination my mother sent me and when I arrived there I spot from outside the cousins. I barely recognized them, I only saw them a few times as a kid on special occasions.

However, I was sure if I saw them somewhere else I wouldn't have recognized them.

As soon as I walked in my mother lifted her head and flashed a big smile as she stood up and began waving at me.

The cousins turned their heads to look at me and then smiled as well.

"Hii," I said as I reached the table and sat in front of them.
