Emma tripped for the third time since she saw the heartbreaking scene, as she hurriedly walked through the hallways to the main hall where the party was still in full bloom.

Had she seen it right? She thought, wiping off tears for the umpteenth time from her eyes with her fingers. They were not even a week old, and he was already cheating.

She had convinced Maya to follow her, look for him, after waiting for some minutes for his return. They had trailed his scent; Maya had actually done that, citing it was a gift or something. Only to find him enjoying without her, enjoying with a stranger on his laps.

She refused to listen to the small voice nagging at the back of head which told her of the untold story behind the cup she had noticed, and the lazy tired look in Derek's eyes. Her mind was only filled with the pictures of what she had seen.
