The red tattoo on his body has been expanding too. They changed again with the last heart of Carnage. In fact, his entire being began to change.

The hearts of Carnage are full of potential apart from blood power. He doesn't get blood power anymore from the Supreme of Carnage but the potential inherent within the hearts remained after stealing them from it.
