Hailey didn't get her chance until she finally made it to Dallin's house to get that sewing machine from him. When he went to go get it, she ended up looking around his living room and found a romance novel she had listened to sitting with a bookmark in it on the coffee table. 

THAT was what he was being so secretive about? Reading romance novels? What was so embarrassing about that? 

"Here you go!" Dallin said cheerfully as he brought out the sewing machine and was about to hand it over. She felt like she had to say something though. 

"I've read that book. It was cute."

His face turned bright red when he saw where she was looking. "I forgot I left that out!" 

"Do you read a lot of romance novels?" Hailey asked, ignoring his embarrassment because she wanted answers. 

"…yes. Weird, I know."
