章節 356: A Hero Needs MY Help?

Sadie Hart wished it was easier to say no to her parents. You would think an actual superhero would be able to stand up for herself but it wasn't so simple. 

They were horribly controlling people. If she tried to refuse…tried to run…they would find her. Even her becoming a hero was something they wanted. She was a lover more than a fighter but they wanted their interests to be protected. 

A lot of villains targeted their holdings. They were the biggest conglomerate in the country after Hunsacher Inc. was broken up a decade ago and were afraid of ending up the same way. 

Sadie was still able to help other people, of course. It was good for her image as a hero. That was the only reason her parents allowed that. 

She was twenty-eight years old and had never truly made any decisions for herself. She got some degree of satisfaction from saving random people but she wished she could be free like they were. In a way she never could.
