章節 160: It Just Wasn't Enough

Max had been the free-roaming type like Spyro. Hannah was used to that sort of thing so she didn't mind having her new friend out and about with her as long as she was home and awake to keep him out of trouble. 

Honestly, it was nice. Having someone to hang out with after work. Someone who was waiting for her to come home. 

It would obviously be better if that someone could talk back but she would take what she could get. Anything was better than nothing but that didn't mean she could give up on her still fruitless attempts at finding love. There had to be SOMEONE out there that she could get along with who didn't care about her job. 

Hannah couldn't afford to be picky. She didn't need much. Just someone who could make her laugh, wanted kids, and was faithful in the relationship. There had to be someone like that out there. 

She knew that there were guys out there who had reptiles or amphibians as pets. Maybe she just needed to meet one of those.
