"Layla, don't be like this, it won't help anyone, not you, not me, or the pack," Damien said as I got up from the bed and walked towards the bathroom
"And what do you mean by 'this'" I asked as I turned around with one hand on my hips, giving him a questioning look and stance
"Layla, can you just let this go? It's nothing, for real, what you are thinking wouldn't change anything if that's what you're thinking" he said in a pleading voice but I couldn't allow myself to think past it
"Well, I haven't really been thinking, why don't I go ale my bath and allow myself to think while I'm at it?" I asked rhetorically before opening the door to the bathroom and entering without giving my mate a second glance

I'm sorry I couldn't do it now, I've not had all the time I need, in fact, I had to squeeze out most of the recent chapters from my head
I'm really sorry if it hasn't been up to your expectations, I've been trying to go back and read some of the previous chapters but I'm always stuck at the beginning, it made me wonder how good the book actually is
I only hope it's as good as I prayed it should be
