"She tried to seduce me," Earl said, lowering his voice. 

"What?!" Evelyn exclaimed. She was taken aback listening to him. 

He closed his eyes remembering the day while she looked at him patiently waiting for him to reply.

Opening his eyes, he began, "She had arrived here in the palace a few times when you were not there. At first, I thought she was genuinely here for you. I was wrong. She tried to come closer and when said no she tried to threaten me saying she would drag me to the council court." 

She gasped listening to him. Despite knowing her character, she had never expected Christina to do something like this. She wondered how much she could fall in one's sight now. She had never judged her before but hearing this she couldn't stop herself from thinking if Christina really loved Elric as she had proclaimed before. 

"Is that why she was here today?" She asked him, pulling her brows together.
