***ADDIE'S POV***

"You bitch! You weak, pathetic bitch! How dare you?" Mortimer was screaming in pain. He wasn't even able to hold his wounds, to comfort himself, while he tried to degrade me further. 

"You are calling me weak, yet you are the one bleeding. You are the one in pain and unable to move. Please, Mortimer, tell me how that makes me weak? How does this work in that sick and twisted head of yours?" I let myself lower to the ground until I was able to walk forward. After taking only a few steps, I was able to kneel directly in front of Mortimer. He was immobile, so he posed no threat to me. Not that I feared him to begin with.
