With the end of the reception coming upon us like a speeding train, I felt my nerves starting to tense. I wanted this night to come, to finally be with Nolan as a woman was meant to be, as a wife was meant to be, but I was still nervous. In all my lives, I had never taken that step with anyone. I had never been through that final of all stages in a relationship. And I was nervous that I wouldn't live up to his expectations.

I couldn't stop looking over at Nolan. Watching him as he talked to people, laughed, and genuinely seemed to be enjoying the fact that he was married to me. And I'm absolutely loving that fact as well. Nolan was my husband. He and I were married. And there was no one that could come between us ever again. We were meant to be, and now it was a reality.
