I had been loving the start of this new year at the Academy. It was easier now that I was a second year. Fewer worries, fears, and all of that. I had a staff that I trusted that worked for me, not my father. It was all going really well. The only complaint that I had was the loneliness that I felt day in and day out.

Yes, there were people here with me, ones that I knew, cared for, and even loved. Addie was just a stranger to me this time last year, but now she was easily the person that I trusted the most in life. And with her around, I knew that I would never truly be alone.
