**ADDIE'S POV**

Callum and Nolan were gone for the rest of the banquet, and much of the remaining night. I spent the time with Juliana and some of my friends. Conveniently, King Holmes and King Xandereth were both missing from the banquet as well, so Hollis and Irina were with me for as long as they were able to be.

I knew that Nolan and Callum had planned on talking to King Holmes after the meal, but I didn't think that Irina's father was going to be in on it as well. Well, I hadn't thought about that being the case until I remembered that there was a bunch of vampires that needed to be dealt with. Then I realized where it was that the three kings had gone with Nolan.

It was a good night though, all things considered. I knew that Juliana would love my friends, if they had the courage to get to know her in the first place. And sure enough, they had laughed a lot when talking to her. She was so friendly and open to others that they had a hard time believing that she was a queen.
