**NOLAN'S POV**

I had not yet told Addie that I was teaching at the academy. I hadn't wanted to tell her before she arrived and seen me there in person. Yes, I knew that this was deceitful, but I wanted to surprise her and see the way that her face was going to light up when she saw that we were going to be together at the academy for the next couple of years.

Yes, it is true that Addie and I wouldn't be able to express our love for each other while we were at the academy. We would not be able to grow closer in an intimate manner, but we would still be able to see each other, talk, and grow our emotional connection in a non romantic way.

I was actually really glad that Callum had thought of this, and that he had done it before Addie and I were together the way that we are now. He had needed to initiate this process far enough in advance that the school would be able to approve my application. And this process usually takes at least one year to complete.
