**NOLAN'S POV**

The following morning, Hunter was the first to arrive. I could tell that he wasn't happy to be taken away from Addie the way that he had been. He wanted to guard her, but she would be fine. She was staying home today because work was canceled. There was just too much to do today, so I wouldn't have the time to go to the Atelier.

"Hello, Hunter." I said as I motioned him toward the chair in front of me and Callum. "Have a seat."

"Is there something wrong?" He asked me with a note of fear. "Did something happen?"

"No, not at all." Callum gave him an encouraging look. "We just wanted to ask you for your opinion."

"On what?" He still looked wary.

"Addie is going to be adding more members to her staff. Attendants and guards." I told him calmly, but his face fell.

"Am I not doing my job properly?" He looked pale and worried.
