I could feel my heart racing. I wasn't able to understand what it was that this man was thinking. Why? What had possessed him to make his men attack an innocent girl? Why had he ordered them to practically hunt her and her sister down? This was wrong. This wasn't right.

"Hennessy, stop this madness." The only reasonable, and nice, man among the group was heard calling out to the prince that had ordered the attack.

"No. This is my land now. The lord is dead, and this girl cannot pay the back taxes that are owed on her family land. She has been squatting here for twelve years. That is unacceptable." They were all riding through the trees, following after Adelia now, even that evil prince that seemed like he hated everything and everyone.
