**ADDIE'S POV**
"N..Nolan?" I spoke his name softly as tears leaked down my cheeks. I was feeling Adelia's pain as if it was my own. In fact, it was my own. I was feeling the memory of it.
"Yes, Addie?" His voice was thick with sorrow as he called out to me.
"This is hard to watch."
"I know. But we can't stop." He squeezed my hand a little tighter and watched on as the little Adelia carried her baby sister toward the village.
"Hello!?" She called again, hoping that someone would respond to her. "Is there anyone there? Mother? Father?" No one responded to her. Not a person anyway.
A dog barked in the distance and came running toward Adelia and the baby. It was the same dog that had been so insistent when she was born. He was older now, but no less powerful and strong.
