My mother had to just run her mouth. I didn't want Karen to know I had offered Stephanie the same deal. It was an act of impulse on my part and I had already severed the relationship. Stephanie had called me in the morning threatening me. She claimed she was pregnant and she would damn the consequences and go to the press. I was still yet to deal with her issue when my mother created another one for me.

No matter how hard Karen tried to hide it, I knew what my mother told her had hurt her. Things were going smoothly between us and my mother had come to create problems for me.

" What about that arcade we discussed this morning," I said trying to fix the situation. Karen scrunched her nose a bit.

" I don't think I am up for that. I have a tummy ache and I would like to go home from here," she said and I confirmed my suspicions. Although she hid it well it was obvious she was hurt.

" I want to go to the arcade but I can't go alone." I insisted.
