Maids, butlers and soldiers running around, men with weapons, their heads facing the floors, reflections of anxiousness mirrored in the shiny tiles and Kai felt a lump forming in his throat, his heart racing and without realizing it the youngest prince of the Avger family was rushing, banging the heavy gates of the throne room only to see his parents talking to Soran. 

"What is going on?" the blue-eyed vampire asked, his footsteps echoing in the wide room. The queen did not speak, it was as if she had turned mute. The woman who always had something to say, words dripping from her bloody red lips was now almost like a ghost, her eyes vaguely looking at her sons. 

"They took her."  Aleron said.
