章節 18: Slowly falling to insanity
Throwing her exhausted body on the bed after taking a quick shower. Winter sighed. She was still in her bathrobe. She feels like getting into her sleeping dress. Rolling on her back. She looked up at the ceilings. Thinking about tonight. She couldn't believe what she had done. But she wasn't regretting it.
Winter touched her lips. Recalling the feeling of his lips on hers. Soft and warm. A shiver ran down her spine recalling the feeling of his hands touching her sensitive parts. She wasn't an expert but she could tell he was.
She let herself sink into happiness forgetting the reality. The reality of what she is and why she decided to play this along. She had a feeling that he was a rich man and she was short on money. That's why she did all of that.
Winter felt bad at herself for using her body to get the money. But it was better than stealing. At least in the meantime. She gets to enjoy and get her fixes without having to think about where to get the money from.
With these thoughts. Winter falls asleep. But her sleeping time wasn't always peaceful. She always had nightmares of the day her mother suicide. Almost every night. She woke up screaming and crying. All alone by herself. With no one to comfort her. So she relies on cocaine to comfort her and numb her feelings.
The next day. Winter woke up early as usual and went to her work. For some reason. She was in a good mood and the day went by very well. After she got off work. She stopped by the nearest ATM and decided to draw some money. After withdrawing the money. She called Irony to buy from him.
Taking the money. Rony glanced at her."Isn't that a little too much? You become a heavy user. Winter." Rony points out.
"Does that concern you?" Winter asked him as she put the goods she put in her bag.
"How many times?" He asked her.
Winter sighed as she put her hands into her jacket pockets. It was the end of September. The weather was starting to become colder at night."Three to four times a day." She replied knowing that he won't stop nagging.
"Be careful before you end up in the ER." Rony advised her before getting into his car and leaving.
Winter pretended that she didn't hear his advice. Stopping a taxi. She went back to her apartment. She was excited to try it. She had bought the same kind as last time.
At that moment. Winter didn't seem to realize that she was slowly losing herself. She lost control and that the drug was playing with her mind and the happiness that was feeling. Was only temporary. Before everything blows up in her face and loses everything. Slowly falling to insanity.
