Hearing her voice, Shen Yan looked over and a beautiful woman who enraptured her attention came into sight.

"Hello. May I know who you are?" Shen Yan smiled and asked somewhat hesitantly.

"My name is Anna. I am a friend of Lu Yan," Anna said with a smile as she reached out her hand toward Shen Yan.

Shen Yan was slightly stunned. She then smiled and reached out her hand toward Anna. After the two of them shook hands, Shen Yan withdrew her hand and said with a smile, "Hello, Miss Anna."

"Miss Shen, are you also attending tonight's charity gala?" Anna inquired and smiled at her.

"Yes," Shen Yan responded politely.

Anna glanced at Shen Yan carefully and stated, "Miss Shen, this might be impolite to say, but the gown doesn't suit you."

Shen Yan was amused by her remark. She smiled at Anna and asked, "Why do you say that, Miss Anna?"
