I walked to our room feeling lost and betrayed by Amir. I was only a distraction to Lucien and here I thought I was a warrior. I don't know what awaits me there. But it can't get worse than this. When I reached the room I saw an angry Lucien staying there.

"Where did you go?", he shouted at me. I flinched at his tone. All the tenderness he showed me has completely gone. I felt as though I was standing before a stranger.

" I asked you a question?", he roared.

"I went outside to find Amir because you won't let me come with you", I told him.

" You want to come with me to see my father? Remember, the last time he saw you was when you stood for the trial of attempting to kill him", he told me.

"I refused to be intimidated by his tone I stared back at him. He was the first one to back down to my satisfaction.
