The first issue with this story is that we are blatantly lied to off rip. The MC is not the king of the dead but instead Hades, with the powers of anyone and everyone he ever encounters. So that pretty much destroys the story from the get go. If you manage to get past this you also have to get past every character being a pale skinned Snow White beauty. Which is so annoying. (White is the pinnacle of beauty) My next issue is when the MC just allows zeus to do whatever he wants with no care in the world. He has no sense of pride and just takes sheet from all the other normie gods.

A story about Greek Mythology but instead of making it greater it serves only to demean it, soiling it with shallow modern soy morality. In the end, just another poor cosplay of a much more complex and deep narrative than your average smooth-brained-just-be-nice idiot can grasp, just like any mainstream fantasy story nowadays. Any fantasy that goes to be anything serious seeks to insert itself in the specific reality, in every way, not only some cool powers. That's what so many people fail to understand miserably, and that is one of the most important reasons fantasy is so interesting in the first place.
