We walk the rest of the way to Birsha’s bedchamber in silence. It’s strange just a few moments ago we were all laughing but the worry I have been trying to push aside is creeping back up. This has been a long day and I’m drained. The small amount of lust I was able to snack on was not enough when I have been without it for days now. I sigh as we walk into the room and Alexia sits down on the couch while Birsha calls for dinner to be brought up. I look at both of them and allow myself to open up and feel the emotions in the room. Birsha, while he looks calm and in control, he is actually a ball of nerves. I can feel his stress and his guilt as if I could touch it myself. He blames himself for everything and when he found out Zaneon was doing this under his nose it made the guilt worse.
