[Technique Of The Midnight Sun]
When placed on a craft, it turns fire skills into Midnight Sun skills. Can also give items event skills.
It was a pretty good ability due to the bonus that event skills got during their respective event. The haze spike scroll was pretty normal, but he would definitely find a use for it. Haze was a combination element of creation, shadow, and darkness. It only actually needs two of the three to become the element, but together they could form permanent beings out of just the mana. Shadows were temporary, darkness had a huge durability and resource consumption issues, so combining them created the haze element. It was rare, but classes built around the element, like haze summoners, were some of the most feared in terms of raw combat power. They could be made with small or large quantities with any quality, making it both flexible and strong.
He was interested in fighting more, but felt his time would probably be better spent crafting with his new symbol, testing its effects so he could create a piece of lord grade gear based around it. It was almost always best to only use one base symbol, mostly due to the amount of combination elements that don't work without some extremely intricate systems.
He tried to retreat back to the safe room, but one of the mages had already busted it open and killed quite a few students before being taken out. He couldn't tell if anyone from his party died, but he didnt thing any of them where weak or dumb enough to be slautered like some of the other students. Jake used his thunder roar continuously empowered with decay, letting out a massive area of effect in front of them which slowed all of the enemies and reduced their stats considerably.
This let the remaining students, including all of his party mates that were there and Lexy swiftly take out the remaining enemies, with Dr. Yorion finally defeating the knight.

All of the gatcha orbs had been picked up by everyone who served a more active role in the fight and were closer to them. Yorion was too busy with the fight to protect the students, but now he used a reaper's shroud to cover them all and fly them all to another safe area. He then went back out to hunt and pick up more students.
Jake closed his eyes and entered the training dimension, moving from the throne into his workshop. He placed his dark infused ingots and mithril into the furnace before starting to design. He already had a necklace he was planning to wear long term as well as two bracelets, but his idea was too big to fit in a ring so a collar or earrings were his main choices.
With the collar in mind he began to dizin. He started by placing the symbol of the Midnight Sun, but later chose to put it on the summoner's gem so he could have more room to play around with the mana veins. He had a total of 15 metal ingots, so he had plenty to work with, but he wasn't sure if he should mix the metal or keep them separate but after some experimenting combining them was the clear move.
It had a very simple shape, just being a basic metal collar with a latch so he could take it on and off. The only other thing was that there was a pair of gems, the summoner's gem and the dark sapphire which he had re-shaped to go directly around it.
It took a few hours just to get the veins in the gems just right to connect properly without exploding, but eventually he got it down. He first had to fuse the gems together, making sure that there wasn't even a bit of space anywhere around the sides, then have hundreds of mini veins to prevent one from overpowering the other. The summoner's gem was obviously more powerful, but it wasn't raw mana the same way other gems were.
It needed to have one of the sides exposed, because without it the gem wouldn't be able to have a strong connection with whatever it summoned. The next part was figuring out what he wanted to do with the metal. It looked nice and clean, but he knew that the more detail he put in, the more control he would have over the outcome.
He ended up settling on a design that mimicked sun rays. Combined with its dark collaring it really did scream Midnight Sun. The only thing he needed to do now was start getting to actually crafting. He pulled the heated metal bars out and put them into a cauldron that he had gotten from his mine along with some ingot molds.
They melted down quickly with mana oozing from the pot with every boil. After pouring and giving it a few minutes to cool off, he clenched the metal in water and placed it back in the furnace to heat up. He related the process for all 15 ingots before he started hammering. Metalworking mastery was proving to be very useful as it not only gave him the knowledge to combine the metal, but also made bending and beating the metal into shape much easier.
Another bit later he had finally gotten all of the gems fused together, taking special care to make it seamless. He drew the symbol of the Midnight Sun over them both together. It looked like a regular sunset or sunrise, but there was one main difference. The sun had eyes. Owl eyes seemed to peak out of the sun, seeing all.
He continued working on it till his mana was completely drained. He wanted to get a summon for sure, and he had no idea if ki could make it so he only used mana to forge. He opened his eyes, where only half an hour of real time had passed when he came out, but fainted against the wall as soon as he placed his bracelets in his inventory.
