He had known that his magic was getting stronger, but being one point from 200 was too much for regular bandits to handle, especially when he put almost a third of his mana in one strike along with the ki he was already using.

Jake had not used a halberd before, but he liked the slashing potential it provided along with the piercing power of the spear, with the only drawbacks being weight and not being able to go entirely through enemies. He looted everything they had on them, but the main thing they had was a storage ring. A ring that served a lot like his inventory, but he couldn't put it in his inventory or as his inner accessory due to its properties.
[Basic Storage Ring][Common Grade]
Can store up to 5 cubic feet of non living stable items. Items will still deteriorate inside. Cannot store other storage items.
It was pretty basic, but he could put all of his items in along with the 2 gold he looted from the bandits. He also got some spare clothes that didn't fit and some swords, but didn't really have a use for them.
He started moving forward again, now running. He was moving around 30 miles an hour without using any mana or ki, but even at that pace he was still more than a week away. Soon enough he came across other travelers, but passed them without interaction. He was getting pretty bored around half an hour through, and as such chose to move through the forest instead of the road.
The sun was shining through the tree's as he ran past creatures of all kinds. He didn't recognize any of them, the environment was more like a massive dungeon than his homeworld with ki filled plants and ores just lying around. He didn't know it yet, but there was a place very similar on another continent of his world.
Even the trees were strong here, enhanced by the lingering ki in the soil. There were small octopus-like creatures in the trees and many fish of various different colors. The light shined off their scales to form inch long rainbows. He could see that some of them had ki inside them, and wanted to see what kind of strength the strange creatures had. The first one he saw was a koi fish, basic and peaceful but full of ki. He went to grab it, and found he had no trouble. Unlike most creatures he had seen, it just stored the ki, not actually using it.
He wasn't exactly sure if he was supposed to eat it, cultivate with it, or take its scales for a craft. There were so many uses for ki, and by affiliation this fish. He used his halberd to skin and eat it, appraising the scales and looking at the effects he got from eating the koi.
[Cultivation Efficiency +300% for 2 hours]
[Orange And white Koi Scales][Rare Grade]
For something he didn't even season, the fish tasted pretty good. He placed the scales in his inventory and started to cultivate. He didn't have his bracelets, but he was only cultivating pills so there wasn't an issue. First he did a body tempering and then did a mind tempering, normally taking four hours each. He finished them in two hours with the koi's assistance.

When he opened the door he was greeted by a massive cave, with only a throne in the middle. He sat down on the throne to access the dungeon menu. There were a variety of things he had to set up before he could make it a level 1 dungeon, but the first thing he did was get his two moles to come out and start mining into the wall. It took a dungen point per square yard of rock clearned, and he needed to make more rooms if he wanted to make it produse things or train units.
He spent a bit of time making sure the moles knew what to dig up and where to place the dirt, rock, and ore they found. The starting room was around 20 by 20 feet with nothing but the one door on the outer ring.
He had the earth elemental flatten the edges and walls as well as reinforce the ceilings. With the new time scale, he knew the construction would be faster if he left. When he came out of his training dimension, the sun was still pretty high up.
He once again started moving through the forest, making sure not to provoke any beasts. He found another a few hours later, he found a waterfall on a pond where he wanted to set up camp. Behind the waterfall, there was a small empty cave where he slept next to the fire.
Jake woke up to see Lexy laying on his chest. He took off the blanket that covered them and was relieved to find he was still fully clothed. He gently pushed her off of him and stood up. He checked his phone, seeing a few missed calls from Jaylen and Ray, but just texted them to let them know he was okay.
