Jake immediately knew that this dungeon wouldn't be straightforward.
Kristina activated lights on her shoulders, revealing that there was nothing for another 30 feet, where there were inactive skeletons. When the three of them stepped forward, Jake yelled at them to stop.
"STOP! I can feel something. There is something in the walls."
Spatial reconstruction showed him the wires that connected the floor to the traps. He picked up a loose stone from the ground and threw it forward onto the ground, setting off hundreds of arrows a second for about 20 seconds.
The arrows were imbued with mana, and could kill anyone with a constitution lower than 20 in just one hit. As they continued, Jake would inform them before every trap and how to avoid each one. When they passed the fourth trap, the skeletons' eyes lit up with a red glow and started walking at them slowly.
Before Jake could even do anything, Ray dashed through all of them. Their heads, arms, and legs all fell to the ground. Jake was shocked at his terrifying speed, for this he would need at least 150 dexterity and 100 strength, but then again he was a dragonborn. Excellence was expected.
Another half hour later, Jake could feel the hidden room behind a wall.
"Ray, can you break down this wall?"
Dungeon walls were meant to be indestructible, but some abilities could break through it, including the famous "Dragon Strike."
He didn't even respond and hit the wall with a fist full of impossibly bright fire, making it crumble.
"Wooh!"
"Don't touch anything, we don't know what could be hiding."
Lexy said, having not seen anything about this in her research.
The entire room was covered in a bright red ice, which had frozen over everything. There was also a pair of mole beasts that were continually mining out the red ice and placing it into the portal. As soon as Rex stepped in, one of the icicles fell from the ceiling, nearly taking him out, but fortunately he was able to dodge out of the way just before.
Everyone outside of Crisstena could feel the immense amount of magic inside each drop of liquid that came from the now partly melted icicle. The liquid moved at them slowly, but before it could do anything Rex slammed his spear into the puddle. A few drops splashed onto his leg, immediately crystallizing and spreading slowly across his thigh. Rex slammed his fist into it, but that only got it on his hand.
Jake looked into the room and saw something he could appraise.
[Fallen Warrior's Sword Of Justice][Lowest Common(Due To Status)]
[Petrified In Red Ice]
Jake had seen the name red ice before, but as an addictive drug instead of this strange enemy. The sword's shape was the only part of it he could see, the rest of it was so distorted by the ice that he couldn't even make out a general color.
Jake went to activate his claws so he could cut off the ice from Rex, but couldn't due to having already put the skill into the amulet. His spear wouldn't be able to cut it off without really hurting him, so he decided that he would let Rex deal with himself, and instead focus on how he would deal with the enemy at hand.
He knew that there was a parasite somewhere in the room, but all he could see was the miners and tons of red ice. He knew that if he tried going in or shooting off attacks he would risk more liquid becoming hostile.
"Maybe there is an elemental in there, my armor should protect me from the ice for a bit. You three step back, I'm going to use an energy blast."
They stepped back and she fired a large bolt of pure energy out of her wrist, shattering some of the ice on the inside, sending frozen shrapnel out, hitting her and jamming her suit and keeping her from moving.
The sword seemed to have the darkest ice on it, as well as the most mana; With two of the four of them freezing up Jake knew that there wasn't a lot of other options than to go full offense and start firing spears at it.
But before he could, Lexy fired a lightning bolt directly into one of the icicles, causing it to refract it and split the bolt into millions of smaller ones and cover the entire room with a lightning grid. It was only a second before they all fizzled out, but a few of them still hit Jake and did a bit of damage, even if it was insignificant. Rex's hand and leg were fully covered in the ice, but stopped moving after being hit with the lightning.
It was clear to both of them that they would need to be constantly breaking and zapping the ice if they were going to clear it all out. As such, Jake started firing spears all over the room, ignoring the damage he was taking from the bolts and continued casting.

The small moles in the corner disappeared, but the remaining ice was still there. It layed on the floor, but it soon started moving again, even without the parasite they thought was controlling it. The four of them eventually got everyone free and used the small portal in the wall to store all of it.
Jake stuck his hand into the small portal and gained sight of everything inside, quickly appraising the contents.
