Jake was beyond excited. They passed through the section made for jewelers, and the items in it didn't disappoint. Skill books, metals, tools, and gems all sat in cases or shelfs. He could buy gems and metals from the cultivation world, and tools were already provided for him so the only thing he really needed was skill books. The skill books were locked shut, but could be picked right off of the bookshelf for him to look at.
Would you like to use skill book[Jewelry Explosion](Commen)
A last resort skill that destroys a piece of jewelry, releasing its inner energy and creating an explosion.
Requirements:[None]
[Skill book is locked, pay the owner to use.]
[Set Price: 5,000 Dollars]
Jewelry explosion wasn't a very useful skill, and with how strong every piece he was wearing was, it simply wasn't worth getting, especially not for the price. None of the skills he looked at were very good, and halfway through looking at them he remembered that getting them would give away that he was a crafter, which he didn't want to do again. Moving back into the section Jaylen was in, he figured that if he was going to create a dungeon he would need something to put in it. Many of them were quite good, but only in some settings. For example a trent would be amazing in a grass setting, but in a cave it would be useless. He eventually found one that would suit almost any environment.

It had solid stats and the rocky growth ability would let its strength and size grow temporarily and permanently, but its price was almost 10,000 dollars. At this point he knew that Jaylen could afford it without issue, but Jake still felt bad about getting such an expensive gift.
"Hey, I picked something. I'll pay you back when I can."
"Oh no, it's no worries, nothing on this floor is outside of my allowance. Anyways, what did you get?"
"I got an elemental, I have a construction project that could use one."
"Cool! I won't ask anymore. Daddy said I should get the ice one too. Daddy is super smart in magic! He has a divine beast as a pet! It's a super cute tiger with super fluffy fur. Daddy said I can raise the baby when I'm older! But I need to be like level 80 first."
They checked out and hearthstone's there way back to the dorms and went their separate ways. Anyone could use the contract to summon, but after it was used only a summoner could put it back. On top of that they couldn't gain experience unless used by a summoner or dungeon master, so only summoners buy them for battle purposes, the rest are just for utility.
The cultivation world wasn't available right now, so Jake spent the rest of the night looking for solutions. Fortunately he had the greatest problem solving force in the world, the internet. He took the chance to post about his situation, excluding his ability hoping for solutions. He also wrote that he reserved his ring buffs from something he was given at the start.
It would of course take some time for people to respond, so he took the time to learn more about zombies. They were categorized into three types, hoard, mutant, and transitional.
So far he had only encountered the former, being weak with stats that wouldn't be level one with no defining features from each other, but in higher level environments or a strong leader they could be strong. They also are true to their name and travel in groups in hundreds or even thousands, but even a thousand often couldn't match up to a single mutant. Mutants are zombies that experienced a sudden evolution, giving them a stack of stats, abilities, and sometimes even the ability to speak. Transitional were the weirdest, and most normal at the same time. Some zombies are born or created when keeping the brain entirely intact, giving them the chance to evolve into another creacher, so they don't stay zombies long.
He had already learned some of this in class, but now he was reading all about the different kinds of mutants and their weaknesses. He also looked at stat gels, but even though they existed they were super expensive. Not because they can give stats, but because of their uses in tech crafting. They could power guns to have infinite ammo, generate to run indefinitely, and even make devices to hide from low level monsters, like zombies.
The designs weren't too complicated and one of the effects of the blueprint ability made it easy to memorize how to make the zombie repeller and water filter. He still had a few gels in his inventory back in the other world, so he just would need the other parts, mostly raw metal and wiring.

Your soul is being transferred into the body of human[Jerry Young]
Jerry was abruptly shaken awake
"WAKE UP!! There here shit shit shit. We have to go!"
"Zombies!?!"
"No, people with guns! A lot of them. We need to move, they killed Mark!"
Jake was able to keep calm, but it was clear the rest of the group couldn't. Guns started fire nearby, soon followed by the screams of other people in the building.
"We saw ya go there kid, give us your food or we'll pop you too."
