The day started with quite the interesting challenger. A swordsmen with the ability sword echo, a skill that could get its own class if it got to a high level by the time he was ready for his class up. Class ups came at level fifteen and it needed to be trained to level five before that, which is no easy feat for anyone. He was using a katana, and with sword echo it would have another blade mimic his half a second after, meaning he could potentially have double strikes if used correctly.
Blade dancer was the class of the princess of Terndoric who recently won a competition for royal dualists, so it had the continent's attention for the moment. The rest of the day held a strong shaman, an archer with some intense range and mobility, and a warlock who had gotten a partner already.
He was receiving texts from some low power challengers, as well as texting some strong ones himself trying to grab their attention for when he could form his own team. He had added the warlock to his list of main recruits as he would also synergize with the dark god worshiper. He had another nice meal with the people in his dorm, he didn't get any stats from this meal, but he learned quite a lot about the shaman class from one of the older students who was once one, but had become an earth elemental summoner with his class ups.
They had quite a few options with their connection to the elements as well as totems and affinity for heavy weapons. He was so tired that he went to sleep almost instantly, waking up mid day in the cultivation world. Shen was knocking on the door sounding like he was about to knock the door down.
"We got another shipment of rings, come check it out if you want to use the forge today."
He had completely forgotten about the fact that he would have to explain how he made six rings without his forge.
"Sure, but I got up early to do my crafting so I don't need it."
He changed into a new set of robes before going downstairs to check out the shipment.
[Jewelry Appraisal]
[Ring Of The Flame Edge][Peak Common]
Active Skill[Flames Edge]
Strength +10
Ki +50

It was most definitely a strong ring, and there were nineteen in the box. This single shipment was worth at least a hundred good if he was estimating it properly. On top of that, there was one other ring that blended in with the others, but it's appraisal was a little different.
[Master Doxen's Draining Ring Of Flames Edge][Peak Common][Cursed]

Ki +50
Dexterity +5
[Curse]

(Timer does not reset when unequip)
It was the same thing again, but this one was sent in with a full shipment of normal rings to disguise it.
"There is a cursed ring in here, but the rest are good. Same curse as last time, but otherwise it's identical to the rings in the box."
"GOD DAMMIT!!"
Shen's uncharacteristically loud voice screamed into the shop's silence with a heavy fist onto a nearby table.
"They said they removed him from their crafting team, I'm going to kill that bastard myself."
He took the ring and stormed out with nothing but his hammer and a sword he grabbed off the shelf on the way out.
"Take care of the shop kid, I got someone to confront."
From what he had seen, Shen was nice and hard working, and he didn't punish him for making mistakes and hadn't been mad in the few days Jake knew him. This was a complete shift that made him look truly scary. He used his mana vision on Shen, and even though he didn't have a real measurement he could see at least 1000 ki inside him, overwhelming the area and sucking all the ki around him in.
Jake couldn't really do anything about it, so he stocked up the shelf with his rings and sat behind the desk waiting for a customer. Eventually a customer did come in.
"Welcome, how can I help you"
Jake put on his best salesman smile and looked at the boy who seemed no older than 15.
"No sir, just wanted to see what was around, since I'm new to the sect."
"You must be one of the new recruits, here we have weapons, repairs, and rings to boost the sect's technique. If any of that interests you let me know, and if you just want to walk around I'm right here."
"Ooh, I haven't seen that kind of ring before, would you mind showing me?"
"Of course, I made these ones myself."
"I'll take it, but I want to test it first if you don't mind." The customer said with a gleeful tone.
Jake let him try it out, and he was quite impressed by its effects. He paid and left, ecstatic at his find. Jake didn't have anything else to do, so anticipating a couple more sales he grabbed a flame iron and started cultivating it. He set it on the desk and continuously channeled mana and ki into it, it wasn't the most existing process but it would be worth it eventually. Compared to regular iron, this took leaps and bounds more time and energy to enhance it as high as he could take it.
