He made a few mistakes when crafting, but they could be fixed with a few hits on the other side. He had to put ki into the hammer to make sure that it would have a cultivation skill rather than a magic one. He engraved the hardened flame symbol without any trouble. The symbol was a fire that had more fire going into it to represent the growth, giving him three jeweler exp. He placed the gem in its spot to finish the ring.
[17 Jewelry EXP gained]
He thought it was kind of a waste as he didn't get the times five bonus from his active, but he didn't really have a choice in this case.

[Basic Hardened Flame Sect Ring][Blueprint Saved]
Blueprints guaranteed he would make the same item every time if he used the same design, but he couldn't use it on items near his level, so only lowest common grade quality was all he could do. That being said it would probably sell well to rich recruits or anyone within its limit.
"This makes the wearer stronger as well as making the sects technique 10% more effective, but it doesn't work on anyone above the peak foundation realm. How much would it sell for?"
"Probably a lot if it worked on higher realms, but it's a good gift parents might buy their kids so I would say fifteen silver. The gem was one silver and the iron was 10 copper with the discount, so you will probably get around seven net profit. You definitely have some skills, so you can have the spear shelf, the spears can go in a rack anyway."
Jake gave a smile. He could mass produce them and make enough money to buy the materials needed for his growth item.
"Go into the shop and clear out the shelf, set up whatever you want. Cards and pens are on my desk."
"Got it, thank you Shen"
Jake had a massive smile on his face as he moved the spears into a nearby rack. They were mostly common, but somewhere too powerful for him to use. He was interested in buying one at some point if he had the option but it would be a long time until then as he needed the money for the moment. He used one of the cards to write the ring's properties and price, and placed it on his shelf. He was happy with his work, but hated how baron it looked. He really needed to grind out items if he wanted to fill it up.
"How is work going youngling?"
Wai was there when he turned around.
"Just finished my first craft for the shop, interested in buying?"
"Sorry I don't collect any weapons of low quality, but when you get a bit better I will."
"Not a weapon, a ring."
She raised an eyebrow at him, intrigued. There were only a few rings made for this sect's skills, so it was a rare opportunity to find one that was made by budding craftsmen.
"Hmm. I knew you were a talent. I will buy this one, it should be a good gift for my nephew. He is turning five next week and it will be useful on his cultivation journey."
He was a little surprised that cultivation started that early, in his world he was just a normal person until he turned 18 just like everyone else. She handed him the 15 silver coins before leaving.
"You're doing really well, looks like I don't need to check on you for a bit. Oh yah, and next time, have something I can use ready."
Wai had a smile when she left, looking at the ring in the sun. Jake also had a smile on, having earned his first money in this world. It wasn't enough to buy the metal he wanted, but it was a start. On top of that it was metal that could be melted down if he wanted too, meaning it could be left in his inventory.
"Shen, I just sold the ring. Where should I put your cut?" Jake yelled over the sounds of hammering. The hammer stopped for a moment.
"Put it in the desk, second drawer."
The hammer began to strike again. He placed his portion in the inventory and the other one one in the drawer. He then went back to shoveling coal. His shift ended another nine hours later. He didnt work as hard as he did the day before, mostly because today Shen worked on repairs rather than restocking the shelves. He bought six small gems and six ingots with his money, leaving him with only 30 copper in his inventory. Jake wanted to make a new design, but for now he needed to create a bunch of the rings he already made so the word would spread that he was reliable.
He spent the next five and a half hours crafting. Using blueprints reduced his EXP gain by 50%, so he gained 300 EXP instead of the normal 600.
It was still enough for him to level up.
[Gemless Technique]
Allows the creation of jewelry without any gem, but will have significantly less power then its jeweled counterpart.
[Crafting Haste]
Increase crafting speed by 20%
[Mana/Ki Vision]
Allows the user to see mana and/or ki. Works on objects, people, and all living beings.
(Warning: May experience sickness when looking at mana/ki significantly greater than yours.)
None of them were exceptionally good, but they were all useful. Mana/ki vision would let him gadge power level, but he wouldn't need it for crafting purposes as his crafting dimension did it for him. Crafting haste would be good, but because he would wake up at whatever time his body woke up, regardless of how long he was in the other world he potentially had an unlimited amount of time to craft. The gemless technique was honestly trash. Almost none of the items would have abilities and the stats it gave were also really low so it could only be used for easy experience and money. He decided having information was more important than speed or money so he chose mana/ki vision, he then opened up his status screen.
