When Cyan told me he would help me, I did not believe him. The way he had no reason to help me, I had no reason to trust him either. 

"Look around you. Haven't you seen how little work I have to do? How do you think I can stay here in your room almost all the time?" he said. "Because I have nothing to do. No one tells me to do anything. I am not worthy, they say, because I don't have enough black mana."

"Father doesn't love me as well. He doesn't care," he added. "So, tell me why would I stay here? Is there anything for me here? The simple answer is no."

"I don't trust you."

"That's up to you. You can take the last chance to leave, or just work as his pawn forever."

"Wipe your face. Gross!"

I washed my face and wiped it with a towel. I returned to my room slowly and sat down on the bed.
