Even though he never hurt me, his possessive talking was kind of intriguing. And besides, I was angry at him for sending Ruby to the dungeon. Because of me, she had to go to a nasty place like that. She might never forgive me. It was me who told her to tell me about the ceremony. That time, I had forgotten that she was going to be in front of Demetrius and he would easily be able to read her mind. I knew he was strict with orders, but I did not think it would be this much that even this minor mistake would lead to this.

Both of them have a part of them that's bright while another part that's dark. The bright part of Demetrius is reserved for Blue, and the dark part is who he is usually. Blue is usually a bright person, but if you look carefully into the way she thinks and the way she talks sometimes, you can sense a different and darker vibe.
In the next chapter, we will be at the feast for their wedding where our Demetrius continues to tease her and of course, finds a person who is looking at his wife far too intently with stupid thoughts. Guess who?
