Four days had passed since the attack on Shekhar and he had fairly recovered Nihaal had thought as they sat at the breakfast table. Morning after Shekhar’s encounter with Ravi in the marketplace, he had woken up with a slight headache which Dr. Puri had predicted. He had prescribed strong painkillers which Shekhar was more than happy to take as the pain was a constant botheration. Barring that, he was better, no dizzying spells, no lightheadedness, no vomiting or nausea – he was a soldier after all and had seen much worse and severe scenarios.
‘How are feeling Shekhar?’, Suhasini had asked as she had woken up on the chair next to him with concern. Shekhar with a slight moan had replied, ‘much better. Did you sleep all night on this chair?’, he had asked surprised and worried.
