章節 16: Luna!

Jasem, who was sitting down beside the unconscious Zachary, was thinking about what he had done to the Orc who was lying dead before them.

Jasem was no longer thinking about the dead orc. He knew what he did was justified and needed to be done, so he had stopped thinking about it a long time ago.

Jasem was thinking about his own power. He couldn't believe how strong he was, managing to blow the orc's head off with a single strike while using that skill.

He realized that the power of the Heroes was not something to be taken lightly. He knew that he had to use it carefully if he didn't want to harm the wrong people.

As he was thinking about that, he started hearing something moving behind him. He stood up, knowing who it was.

His stomach growled like a bear as he turned around and started heading towards his friends. He was so hungry, he could practically taste the food that Dean had brought. His mouth watered at the thought of fresh meat and roasted vegetables.

He walked towards the sound until he was able to see them. He stopped in his tracks when he saw the two dragging a cage behind them. They were struggling to drag it up the hill.

Adam, who was looking ahead, saw Jasem standing and started shouting for help. They were barely able to hold on to the heavy cage.

"Hey, come and give us a hand with this thing!" Adam shouted at Jasem, who stared at them for a few moments before he went towards them without saying anything back.

Once he arrived, he looked into the cage to see a girl sitting there with animal ears. This made him even more confused, as a million questions popped into his head.

But he knew it wasn't the time to ask these questions now. He saw the completely red faces of Dean and Adam as they struggled to hold on to the cage.

He went behind and started pushing the cage with them, which made it easier for the two at the front to pull the cage all the way to the top.

After they arrived at the top, Dean and Adam collapsed on the ground like sacks of potatoes. They were gasping for air, their faces red and sweaty. They had never been so tired in their lives.

Adam lay on the ground, gasping for air. "Hahh... Hahh... Next time you buy something like this, make sure you can carry it yourself. I'm not doing this ever again," he said to Dean, who was lying next to him, also gasping for air. Dean just shook his head. He was too tired to even argue.

Jasm, who was at the back, eyed the girl for a few moments before he went and sat down beside the two who had sat down after they rested.

The three stared at the girl inside the cage in silence for a few moments. She was shaking, and her eyes were wide with fear. Jasem looked at Dean, who was smiling brightly. He knew that this was Dean's doing.

"What are you planning to do with her?" Jasem asked in a calm voice, but his eyes were narrowed in suspicion. He wanted to know what Dean's plans were by bringing a wounded girl like this to them who were running away for their lives.

Dean stared at the girl for a few more moments, his eyes full of concern. Then he looked back at Jasem, who had blood all over his shirt from killing the orc earlier. Dean flinched, as he had not noticed the blood until now.

"Woah! What happened to you?" Dean asked, concerned. He had not noticed the blood on Jasem's shirt before. He stood up and went to check on him.

"I'm fine, don't worry about me," Jasem said, brushing Dean's concern aside. "Just tell me what this girl is doing here." Dean sat back down after he saw that Jasem was completely fine before he started explaining things to him.

Dean told Jasem everything that had happened to him, from the moment he stepped foot in the village until the moment he saw Adam a few minutes ago on the street.

Jasm understood why Dean had brought the girl here, but he was still suspicious of him. He knew that Dean had hidden motives, and he planned to deal with them when he revealed them. But for now, he stayed silent. He didn't want to start a fight with Dean, and he knew that it would be better to wait and see what Dean's true intentions were.

Adam, who had heard the whole story, was more interested in what had happened between Dean and the kid at the bakery. He was intrigued and he wanted to know more.

"Did the kid say anything other than that after he knew you were a Hero?" Adam asked, his curiosity piqued. Dean shook his head immediately, still confused about the whole situation. He didn't know why the kid had been acting that way towards him.

The three stayed silent for a few moments, thinking about different things before Jasem tapped Dean on the back of his head and started speaking to him.

"Aren't you forgetting something important?" Jasem asked, raising an eyebrow. Dean rubbed the back of his head as he thought for a few moments. Then, he stood up and opened his Space Storage and started pulling out the things he had bought from the village.

Dean proudly displayed the bread, water, clothes, and weapons he had bought from the village in front of him. He looked at his friends, waiting for their thanks.

Adam took the new clothes Dean had brought and went behind a tree to change. He was eager to get out of the dirty, bloody, and saliva-stained clothes he had been wearing.

Jasm, who was famished, went and grabbed a few loaves of bread and some water. He went back to where he had been sitting before and started devouring the food.

Dean, who had been ignored by his friends, sighed as his efforts went unnoticed. He sat down and looked at the bread in front of him. He grabbed one and started eating, feeling a little bit disheartened.

As Dean was eating, he looked up at the cage and saw the girl staring at the bread in front of him. He immediately stood up, realizing that he had forgotten about her current condition.

Dean grabbed a loaf of bread and went inside the cage after he opened the door. He held out the bread to the girl, but she cowered in fear when she saw him get near her.

Dean knew that the girl was scared of him, so he placed the bread in front of her and sat down inside the cage but slightly far away from her. He started eating while smiling at her, hoping to show her that he meant her no harm.

She looked at him for a few minutes, her eyes darting back and forth between him and the bread. Finally, she started crawling towards the bread, her movements slow and cautious.

When she got closer to the loaf, she was hesitant to grab it. She kept looking at Dean, who was not moving and kept eating what he was holding. She was afraid that if she took the bread, he would attack her.

She stretched her hand out towards the bread slowly, fearing that it might be a trap. She kept her eyes on Dean, who was still not moving. When she saw that he wasn't going to attack her, she grabbed the bread and quickly crawled back to where she was.

Dean smiled brightly when he saw her take the bread. He placed his hands behind him and leaned on them, waiting for her to finish eating.

"Can you speak?" Dean asked the girl. She didn't respond, but kept eating the piece of bread quickly. He knew that she was starving, as the slavers hadn't given her anything to eat in weeks.

After she finished eating, she licked her fingers before she looked back at the food that was outside. Dean, who had been watching her, stood up and left the cage. She flinched when she saw him moving, but he just went and brought more food and water for her. He placed it at the same place as he had before.

She was still suspicious of Dean, but she was also very hungry. She watched him carefully as he went and sat down in the same place as before. Then, she slowly crawled over to the food and took it. She ate it quickly, then crawled back to her place as Dean kept staring at her the whole time.

After he saw that she was finished with her food, he started speaking again. He asked her the same thing as before, "Can you speak?" The girl looked at him, and he could see that she was starting to trust him. She nodded slowly at him, and he smiled. He was happy to know that she could talk and understand him.

"Can you tell me your name?" he asked, leaning forward eagerly. He was so excited to finally be able to communicate with her, and he couldn't help but smile. But his smile was a little bit wired, as he was still nervous about her reaction.

"L-L-Luna," she stuttered a few times, her voice barely above a whisper. She looked at him with terrified eyes as he started getting closer to her.

"Nice to meet you, Luna," he said, smiling warmly. He started getting closer to her slowly, careful not to scare her. He wanted to get her off those shackles that were around her hands and feet, but he knew that he had to take his time.

"You can call me Dean, can you tell me how old are you" he said, keeping his voice soft and gentle. He kept walking slowly towards her, careful not to startle her. He wanted her to be at ease when he reached her, but what he hoped for wasn't happening. She started crawling back away from him, her eyes wide with fear.

"I'm... I'm 18 years old," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. She hit the cage bars behind her as Dean arrived directly in front of her. She looked back, knowing that there was no way out. The bars were behind her, and Dean was in front of her.

She thought about fighting, but she knew that she was too weak. Her movements were restricted by the shackles, and she was terrified. All she could do was cover herself with her arms and close her eyes as Dean's hands got closer to her.

Dean, who was in front of her, grabbed his keys from his storage and was about to unlock her shackles. But before he could do so, Adam came back after he had changed his clothes. He shouted at Dean, thinking that he was doing something bad to the girl.

"What are you doing to the poor girl, you sick bastard?!" Adam shouted. Luna thought she was in danger and screamed as she tried to escape. She hit the cage hard in the process, which caused it to start moving.

"I'm not doing anything ba...., Uaaaaaah"  Dean tried to explain, but he was cut off by a scream as the cage started to go down the hill. He and Luna were both inside, and they were both terrified.

Adam was trying so hard not to laugh as he watched Dean screaming the whole time until the cage stopped after hitting a tree at the bottom of the hill. He knew that Dean had been trying to help Luna, but he couldn't help but find the situation amusing.

Jasem rushed towards them after he saw what happened. He was concerned about Dean, who was still screaming. Adam followed Jasem, laughing hysterically. He couldn't stop thinking about Dean's face when he was screaming.

After they arrived at the cage, Jasem went inside to find Dean holding Luna tightly against his chest with his back to the cage. He had protected her from the impact of the crash.

"Here, take these things off her," Dean said, handing the keys to Jasem. Jasem started taking off the shackles from Luna's wrists and ankles. Then, he carried her out of the cage. Luna kept looking at Dean, who was rubbing his back. He was hurt from the impact of the crash.

He stayed sitting there for a few moments, wincing in pain and trying to catch his breath. Then, he stood up and left the cage. He stopped and stared at Adam, who was still laughing. He couldn't stop thinking about how close he had come to being seriously injured.

"Fucking idiot!" Dean muttered under his breath as he started following Jasem, who was carrying Luna up the hill. Adam kept laughing while looking at Dean, who was too angry to say anything else.
