"One of the ways to kill any Ashaya is to damage these two Death Points," Keith pointed at the Death Point that was on the forehead and the one on the back of the neck. "However, you need to be exceptionally skilled to get it done as quickly as possible. Damaging or destroying them requires a very refined control of your Aura, and your Aura also needs to be more potent than that of your opponent."
Rouxi, Feifei, Ayesha, Fiona, and Qingyue looked at the extremely detailed chart that Keith had drawn up on the board, with every possible Aura Node and Aura Channel inside an Ashaya's body.
And they all had different thoughts running through their minds.
"Only Ashaya?" Qingyue asked and watched her husband smile at her. "Rebecca said that a lot of races have Death Points in the same positions."
"She's right. However, superior races have much stronger Aura Nodes, and they even have a better natural defence that protects their Death Points. And yes, even if you do manage to destroy those two points, they might not die. As for other baser races, yes, it will work on them too."
"What races?" The little Miss Wei curiously asked.
"I will tell you about some later." He said and she nodded to him, but then looked at the chart again and frowned.
"Why are you teaching me how to kill people in such technical ways?" She pouted. "Aren't the simpler ways better?"
"Because there's a possibility that you might find yourself surrounded by a lot of enemies when you are in a weakened state. Your best bet to survive against them would be to escape, if you can, of course. However, if you can't escape, and you must engage, then this will be the key to your survival."
Though there was a smile on his face, all the girls were frowning now.
Rouxi, Feifie, and Fiona were a little restless in their hearts, and his dear maid had visibly paled at his words.
"Well, that's it for your lesson today," Keith said and immediately heard Feifei protest.
"You promised that you would train us in the evening!" She shot up to her feet and walked over, looking right into his eyes. "And you will hold onto your promise!"
Keith amusedly smiled at her reaction, and Qingyue, Ayesha, Fiona, and Rouxi could not help but smile or laugh at what was happening.
"When did I say that we won't be training?" He asked her, and her cheeks immediately became rosy in embarrassment.
"So, what are we doing today?" She asked, looking away.
"We are going skiing."
For a moment, both Rouxi and Fefei thought that they had misheard him.
"What?"
"I thought you loved Skiing." Keith flicked Feifei's nose, and she pouted.
"I do. But how can we go skiing right now? And where? Also, I want to train." She seriously said.
He smiled at her words and then took a step back.
"I want you to create skis using your Aura. Both of you." He said and looked at Rouxi as well.
The Child of Destiny simply nodded to him and stood up, getting to work, and Feifei too started working on the task.
It did not take them long at all.
Both of them managed to shape their Aura in the form of Skis within seconds, which surprised Ayesha a little, and then the two curiously looked at Keith.
"Now what?"
"You should have worn more layers, but I suppose, this way, you can train your body in cold better." He grinned, and before the two could understand his words, they felt his hand land on their waist, and the next moment, they found themselves inside a dream.
Yes, it could only be a dream. Because what they were looking at was one of the most beautiful sceneries they had ever witnessed in their lives, and they were pretty sure that such a place could not exist in this world.
They were standing on top of a hill, and everywhere they looked, they only found snow, snow-covered peaks, snow-covered valleys, and snow-covered trees.
However, when the chilling cold permeated Feifei's body, her heart skipped a beat because it all felt so real.
She felt her heart jump to her throat when she finally looked down and realised that they were not on top of a hill but a mountain, and a steep slope with a clean blanket of snow, awaited them, calling out to them to jump.
"Ready?" They heard Keith's voice from behind them, and they finally understood his intentions.
"Is this a dream?" Feifei could not help but ask.
"No. This is not a dream." She heard him whisper near their ears. "Welcome to my world!"
He chuckled, and then they felt a push on their backs.
A sharp cry of a girl rose to the sky, but her panic was soon replaced by sheer excitement as she skied down the long steep slope.
Yes, it was cold, extremely cold, but her adrenaline had kicked in, and she had never before felt as alive in her life.
It was the same for Rouxi, and she was so engrossed in this moment that she failed to notice how pleasant she felt right now.
However, their excitement was short-lived when they saw where they were headed, and it was an upward curve on the slope that was waiting for them.
The two of them noticed it too late and a few seconds later, they were high up in the air, looking at the slope that was continuing downwards under them.
Their hearts slowed down when they started falling, and two things happened after that.
Feifei, who tried her best, failed to regain control, and then she just shut her eyes, accepting her fate and bracing for pain.
On the other side, Rouxi, somehow, managed to manoeuvre herself midair, and clumsily, but safely landed on the slope and continued skiing downwards.
She panicked a little and looked back at her friend, having heard her cry, but was immensely relieved when she saw Keith skiing down the slope behind her, carrying Feifei in his arms.
A smile crossed her face when Keith overtook her and she heard her best friend excitedly laughing at how fast they were going.
Several minutes later, she finally reached the end of the slope and then turned around to look at the ridiculous tall mountain that they had just descended.
"Wow..." She whispered, and then she was being hugged by her best friend.
"You were so cool back there!"
Rouxi giggled at her words and then turned to look to her left.
"Woof!" An excited bark sounded out, and both Feifei and Rouxi watched the snow-white wolf running out of the woods towards them.
"So, this is where he sends you." The little Miss Wei finally understood why Eira was always excited when she saw Keith.
It was because he would send her to have fun in this beautiful place.
"Where are we?" Rouxi asked, looking at Keith, who was standing a little away, with his eyes closed.
Feifei curiously turned around too and raised her brow when she heard him not respond to the question.
They had to wait nearly two minutes before he opened his eyes, and both their hearts nearly stopped at what they saw.
His eyes were different, inhuman, soul-stirringly beautiful. They were just divine.
However, they soon started changing, and they instinctively protested against it.
"No..."
"We are in Aerzar." He told them. "My world." He smiled.
"Your eyes..." Rouxi did not know what to think right now, and Feifei was already right in front of Keith, looking deep into his eyes.
"How did you do that?"
"Do what?" He raised his brow and teasingly asked.
"Your eyes were a different shade just now."
"Were they?" He asked, and she nodded her head.
"We saw it." She said and then looked at her friend, who nodded her head as well.
"Well, they are my real eyes. But I can't walk around with them, can I?" He smiled. "People might lose their souls if they look too deep into them."
"Please, please." She started jumping in excitement, begging him to show them to her again, and he leaned in to nudge his nose with hers.
Right when he pulled his head back, his eyes changed again, and Feifei immediately gasped at their beauty.
Rouxi too could not help herself and approached him, taking a good look into his eyes, and he laughed when they soon lost themselves in his beauty.
He also found it quite amusing that the two were more concerned about his eyes than the strange world they found themselves inside.
"Okay, enough."
A minute later, he covered his eyes again under a deep brown mask, but the two still kept looking at him dumbly.
It was only after he suddenly leaned in and planted a kiss on Rouxi's cheek that she panicked and stepped back, and Feifei started laughing at what he had just done.
The Child of Destiny blushed a little and felt a little strange as the warmth of his lips lingered on her skin.
"So, how was the test run?" Keith asked, and they both finally paid attention to their surroundings again.
"Aerzar?" Rouxi curiously raised her brow.
"Yes. My world. And we will be training here for 10 days before we return to Gaia."
"10 days?" They both looked at him in surprise. "I have work..." Rouxi half-heartedly said, and curiously looked at him when he chucked.
"Don't worry about it. We will only be gone for a day on Gaia, but we will be spending 10 of them here."
"How's that possible?" Feifie frowned.
"The Law of Time." He replied before he crouched down to pet the excited wolf. "Alright. Now get back up there." He said, much to their horror.
"Are you crazy! I will die before I can climb that mountain."
"Aren't you an Auror who wanted to train?" He grinned, and both of them turned quiet at his words.
"At least, give me your coat. It is too cold here."
Rouxi frowned when she finally noticed that Feifei's body was shivering in the cold.
"I..."
"It's fine." Keith cut her off. "Your case is a little special." He told her before he suddenly brought out a ladies' coat out of nowhere and threw it to Feifei. "See you." He said before he grinned at Eira and then they both started running up the steep slope of snow.
Feifei and Rouxi narrowed their eyes when they saw that his feet were not sinking into the snow, and strangely enough, it was the same for Eira, whose paws landed on the snow as if it were a solid surface.
Out of curiosity, Feifei stepped forward and turned to look back at her friend when her feet sank into the snow with every step that she took.
"How did they do that?"
"I guess we will have to climb this mountain to ask that question." Rouxi sighed and then got on with the training. "Let's go."
