章節 17: chapter seventeen
The next morning Diego woke up early and had his bath and he left to go and bring rosie. He had to use the carriage because he didn't want to carry her.
He walked outside and the driver was already waiting for him
"good morning my prince my prince"he said bowing his head and opening the door for Diego.
"I want you to drive as fast as you can because I have work to do"Diego said and stepped in while the driver closed the door and he took his seat in front of the carriage and they left the palace.
Diego hated traveling in carriage and he could not believe he was riding in one now because of Rosie.
"damn that girl is getting on my nerves so much,I am only doing this because of ophelia and no one else"he said to himself.
They got to ville in an hour because of the road,the driver drove into the palace and stopped in front of the entrance to the palace and alighted and went to open the door for Diego. Diego stepped down and the guards at the door greeted him and he answered with a wave of hand.
The king and his family were having breakfast when he arrived they were all surprised to see him
"prince Diego good morning what brings you here early this morning?queen Martha asked
"I have come here to take Rosie back with me to versuvius"he replied.
"me why?Rosie asked she was afraid that Diego was angry and wanted to take her back to versuvius so he could punish her for what she had done last night.
"yes prince Diego what has my daughter done that you want to take her to versuvius? king Robert asked.
"Rosie didn't you tell your parents? Diego said staring at her,she was trembling and she kept stammering when she wanted to speak "uhmm I I.. I no uhm I didn't tell them"she said.
"well when are you going to tell them I don't understand you were pretending to be bold last night what happened now"Diego shouted.
"please calm down I know she has done something wrong but please take it easy"Robert said trying to calm Diego down he knew that if Diego got angry it would be fatal for his family.
"fine I'll tell them since you can't talk well Robert and Martha your daughter"he said pointing at Rosie is pregnant and she is carrying my baby so I don't want my enemies to kill my child that is why I want her to come and live with me
Rosie was very happy this was she wanted all along to live in the luxury of the great palace of versuvius and be addressed as Diego's wife.
"really Rosie you never told us anything about it"Martha said happily
"this calls for celebration"Robert said smiling but Diego wasn't happy at all
"there will be no celebration I am a busy man and I have just few minutes to spend so please get Rosie's bags I will be in the carriage"he said and left.
"well my daughter your dream has become reality"Robert said hugging his daughter
"yes dad"Rosie said grinning from ear to ear
"you better behave yourself as you can see Diego doesn't tolerate nonsense"her mum warned.
"I will behave myself let me go get my stuffs I don't want to keep my husband waiting"Rosie said and went upstairs to pack her bags.
In less than ten minutes she and the maids had already packed her stuffs and were taking it outside then Robert escorted his daughter to the carriage and her bags were put in the carriage and Robert spoke to Diego before they left
"please do take care of my daughter and if she does anything wrong do not hesitate to punish her"
"I will"Diego replied and he instructed the driver to go,Rosie waved at her parents till the carriage left the palace.
Rosie was so happy that she was finally with Diego she looked around and saw he carriage was well decorated she might be a princess but her father's wealth was nothing compared to Diego's wealth.
"Diego I am so happy that you finally accepted me and our baby"she said holding his hands but he quickly removed them from hers
"I advise you do not touch me or talk because we are in a lonely place I could kill you"he said angrily
Rosie knew better than to say anything so she kept quiet and they continued the journey in silence.
