章節 32: Chapter 32 You Are Living Together?
Nancy was embarrassed for a moment. She parted her lips, seeming to explain. But in the end, she said nothing.
While Chloe shifted her gaze from Nancy to Daniel, like staring at strangers.
Sensing her cold attitude, Daniel felt uneasy. He tried to change the topic, "Let's go to see Lisa's family."
Then they walked into the mourning hall.
After Lisa greeted them, she asked Chloe in secret, "Why are they all here, Chloe?"
Chloe guessed that Ryan informed them.
"Do you go home tonight?" Daniel came over and asked Chloe.
Chloe wanted to stay with Lisa for a few more days, so she shook her head, "No, I want to stay. Besides, I can also have some peace away from Sasha. She's basically making your home the hell for me."
"Wait a sec! Sasha? Home?" Ryan looked at Daniel and Chloe in a meaningful way, "You two can't be living together, right? Especially not after you just canceled the engagement party!"
"Daniel is just taking care of Chloe. Not what you are thinking." Nancy interrupted jealously.
Chloe turned to Nancy, seeming to know why she got so nervous.
Nancy liked Daniel. That was why she wished nothing was going on between them. She might think she was hiding her feelings well. But after rebirth, Chloe wasn't that naive girl anymore.
"It's late now, Nancy. You can go back with Mr. Bruce. Or you can also stay in the hotel tonight. By the way, Mr. Ryan, thank you for the help today."
Then Chloe left. She would prefer to spend more time with Lisa.
"What about you?" Daniel asked Chloe as he looked at her lonely back.
In fact, he also wanted to tell her that he couldn't fall asleep without her.
"Don't worry," answered Chloe, her eyes fixed on Lisa, "I want to stay with her."
After Chloe left, Nancy walked closer to Daniel, "Daniel, Chloe is right. It's late now. Let's find a hotel first."
Ryan saw this and immediately realized the love triangle. "I will wait for you in the car."
"Don't," Daniel stopped Ryan, walking away from Nancy, "Ryan will find a hotel for you. I'll stay here."
"Stay here?" Nancy couldn't trust her ears. What for? This place was so shabby.
But Daniel nodded again.
"If you insist, how about I stay here with you?" Nancy changed her mind and put on a smile, "Ryan, please go to the hotel for some rest."
Seeing Nancy's reluctant face, Ryan tilted his head and wanted to make fun of her, "You are serious, Nancy? If you can't sleep well, you may get old."
Subconsciously, Nancy touched her face, worried, "It's okay... It happens a lot for doctors to stay up late anyway."
"Nancy, you don't have to do this. Let Ryan send you back. My decision is made." Daniel said firmly, leaving no room for her to argue. Then he turned around without looking back.
After arriving at the hotel, Nancy stopped smiling at once. She threw her bag at the bed angrily, her brain nearly exploding in anger.
She had known Daniel for years and he had always been lukewarm to her. She thought he was just an indifferent person. But he was so nice to Chloe!
Even though Chloe was so selfish to cancel the engagement party without discussing it with him, he was still willing to take care of her and even asked her to move into his place.
Why!
Nancy was overwhelmed by anger and jealousy that she wanted Chloe dead. Now!
So she logged in to that website again. After all, she had done it before.
Sunny CC: Hello, I want make a deal. There's a bitch and I hope you can help me get rid of her.
A few minutes later, Nancy got a reply.
Z: Name.
Sunny CC: Chloe. For two hundred thousand. She is in X City now.
Z: No problem. Transfer the money to the account I gave you last time. This time, we will make sure you see her dead body.
After getting the promise, Nancy smiled briskly. Suddenly, she thought of something and started typing.
Sunny CC: Wait. I've changed my mind…

In the funeral parlor, Lisa was surprised to see Daniel back.
"Mr.…Mr. Bruce," Lisa faltered.
Daniel lowered his head slightly, "I'm sorry for your loss."
THE Mr. Bruce was caring about her? Lisa was flattered, but she quickly realized he did it for Chloe.
"I also heard that your father has some financial problems recently. What can I do to help?" Asked Daniel.
If it weren't for Chloe, Daniel wouldn't have known her, let alone offer his help.
But she already got too much help from Chloe.
So Lisa shook her head heavily, "Thank you, Mr. Bruce. It's kind of you to ask. But I believe my father can solve it."
After a moment of silence, Daniel nodded and went to Chloe.
"Why are you here? Haven't you gone back?" Chloe rubbed her eyes, staring at Daniel in disbelief.
While Daniel sat beside her, stretching his long legs. "No. I don't want to leave without... "
Although he didn't finish his sentence, Chloe could figure out what he was missing.
There came the weird awkwardness in the air.
She tried her best to keep calm. But her racing heartbeat told her she failed.
"Are you interested in showbiz?" Daniel suddenly asked, closing his eyes for some rest.
While Chloe was shocked.
She remembered so clearly that in her previous life, Daniel didn't want her to work in showbiz. So she joined his competitor company, Rene Bella Entertainment, and even became their most famous star.
But now it seemed that Daniel wanted to offer her a job. Why did he change so greatly?
Whatever. It could be fun, right?
A playful smile appeared on Chloe's face. She nodded, "Yes."
Stunned by her speed, Daniel opened his eyes instantly, "You made your decision so fast?"
So fast that he thought he walked into her trap somehow.
"Why not? CS Entertainment is running so well under your management," Chloe stopped as she noticed Daniel's weird smile, "Why are you looking at me in such a weird way?"
"Not many people are aware that CS Entertainment belongs to me. It seems that you know me WELL."
He stressed as he said it slowly, his voice attractive and even flirtatious.
Chloe knew it wasn't a big deal. But the way he indicated just made her blush slightly.
She wasn't interested in him at all.
"I just did my homework to join the showbiz. That's all. And your company happens to be influential in the circle." Chloe explained. She didn't want to see his proud face.
"Miss Chloe! Help! Lisa tried to kill herself!"
