“It does sound harsh that your family won’t be upset that you’ll not be there for Christmas.”

Michael snorted.

“We were raised not to be dickheads. Unfortunately, my parents forgot the lesson when Adam came along.”

“So, what do you think, Philip?” Aiden asked. “Think you can swing it?”

Philip grinned.

“I think that sounds like a very good idea.”
