Michael had a feeling his father would have a heart attack if he knew his oldest son had been in a sexual relationship with his adopted brother for nearly twenty years.

“Do you believe Adam’s claims that Philip was abusive?” Aiden asked.

Michael snorted.

“Of course not. That man is as gentle as you can get.” He peered up at his lover. “Did you?”

“Absolutely not.” Aiden shook his head. “If it was Adam who was abusive, I might have believed that. I thought their relationship was it for Adam. At the start, he was showing signs of being more stable with his studies and relationships with everyone else. Behaving like an adult for once in his life. Clearly not.”

“And from the way he and Kelly behaved once Philip was gone, they certainly didn’t care about Philip’s feelings.” Michael grumbled. “I’m sure Kelly knew what she was doing was wrong.”
