There was no hiding the erection pressing against Daniel’s jeans. He was big. Both men were big. And that made the blood leave Nick’s head.

Holy hell.

“Nick.”

Nick looked up. Daniel was watching him. His eyes seemed to have darkened. The desire was clear, and it made Nick’s mouth go dry. Oh, wow. Gorgeous didn’t begin to describe Daniel Redfearn. He was just…wow.

“Did Captain Llanos know that you were gay?”

Nick shook his head. He was surprised that he had a voice with Daniel looking at him like that.

“No. Blanche knew, though. We decided…we would help each other out to avoid awkward questions. She didn’t want anyone to get it back to her mom, and I felt it wasn’t anyone’s business.”
