“You’re damn right I am, did you ever look at yourself the week you met Brian? I’ve got nothing on you. I’m going to try to take things a little further tonight. I hope Bull doesn’t wear their asses out in class. I want him to know I’m courting him.” Jake looked at his watch. It was time to get Davey.
When Jake pulled up, Davey was outside talking to Jamie. He heard Jamie say, “He just showed up, no warning?”
“Yeah, and my phone was never off. I always made sure I had minutes in case I got an interview. I thought I had a burglar. Although a burglar would have been disappointed, there wasn’t much to take.”
“Change the locks. Call a locksmith and have the landlady let him in to change the locks. He can give her the keys and she’ll give them to you. I’ll bet good money she didn’t like Harry.” Jamie patted Davey on the back.
“She didn’t. How did you know?” Davey’s face was alive with curiosity.
