Alex was on his feet then, cursing while I pulled my pants and shorts over my ass, stuffed my softening cock into my underwear, and zipped up. Alex looked at me for a moment, like he expected me to say something, but I didn’t know what tosay so I kept my mouth shut. He was gone after that, grabbing his discarded jacket from the sofa before storming out of the house.

Everything went quiet then. I stood for a moment, trying to figure out what to do. Did I go outside and see if I could help defuse the situation, or stay sequestered in the house, waiting for the fallout to come to me?

The yelling outside answered my question. I knew then that I couldn’t hide from everyone like a coward.
