“Would you care to tell me about it?”

“Why, I believe I met your Teremun.”

He laughed and snuggled against my side.

“You don’t believe me?”

“Of course I do. I wonder…does that make him an in-law or an out-law?”

I groaned and wrapped an arm around him. “Not amusing.”

“Sorry.” He reached up and kissed the hinge of my jaw. “What did he have to say?”

“Just that I’d made a wise choice.”

“What did you choose?”

“You.”

He sighed happily. “You really did choose me, didn’t you?”

“I did.”

“And I choose you right back.” He slid his arm across my chest and held me tight, and soon his breathing evened out.

I angled myself so I could curl a leg over his to keep him close, and before too long I was asleep, as well.

I woke up gradually, to the feel of feather touches tracing the muscles of my back, down to the curves of my arse. I shifted, parting my legs, giving my lover better access to whatever he chose to explore. “Roddy.”
