“No, I haven’t.” Although not having the key hadn’t prevented Vincent from entering my town house at will. “It certainly wasn’t the smartest thing I’ve ever done, and I can’t imagine what possessed me to give hi—to give out my key this time.” I’d nearly slipped, and I could feel the tell-tale color in my cheeks.
